Mr. Arowosegbe Michael Aderibigbe is LASU's best


With a Cumulative Grade Point Average [CGPA] of 4.68 Arowosegbe Michael Aderibigbe is the best graduating students of the Lagos State University for the 2014/2015 academic sessions.
Aderibigbe graduated the department of Biochemistry with first class.

The biochemistry graduate was called three times to the podium to receive awards. He not only emerged as the overall best out of the 17,694 students that graduated, he also won the best faculty graduating student award and the provost’s award for the best graduating student for his exceptional performance. Aderibigbe’s achievement confirms the assertion of the Vice Chancellor of the school, Prof. Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun, in his speech that the convocation had shown the victory of knowledge and hardwork over indulgence.

Aderibigbe was yesterday the cynosure of all eyes because of his grass-to-grace testimony. His valedictory speech  moved the large crowd of guests to tears. Aderibigbe’s father was a member of contract staff of LASU security unit, popularly tagged ‘Campus Marshall’. 

The Vice Chancellor, Prof Olanrewaju Fagbohun, admonished the graduands to behave with honour, adding that they are still a part of their alma mater.
