Two teens accidentally walk over US-Canada border playing Pokemon GO

It was reported by ABC News, two teens walking southbound from Alberta, Canada, into Montana were arrested while playing Pokemon GO.

Thankfully the authorities weren’t too harsh and simply detained them while they contacted the teens’ mother.

Turns out that they were both so distracted by the game that they did not realize they had crossed over and were summarily detained by the authorities.

According to the US Customs and Border Protection public affairs officer, Michael Rappold, “Both juveniles were so captivated by their Pokemon Go games that they lost track of where they were. They crossed the international border inadvertently, but agents were able to reunite them with their mother.”
