Rio 2016: Liverpool striker Taiwo Awoniyi leaves Eagles U-23 training camp in Atalanta

Liverpool striker Taiwo Awoniyi has left coach Samson Siasia training camp in Atalanta and it is envisaged at this point that he will not return to join the team.

This news came as a result of the player inability to determine when they will leave the Atalanta training camp in USA and head for the Rio Olympic in Brazil with less than 7 days to go.

The Vanguard reports that 18 players trained under the guidance of manager Samson Siasia and the session lasted for about two hours yet players and officials remain stranded in Atlanta, don’t know when they are leaving for the Olympic Games in Rio and are praying for manna to fall from heaven.

Liverpool striker Taiwo Awoniyi has left the training camp and it is envisaged at this point that he will not return to join the team.
