"WASAP 2016 team" with team leader Amedu Peter visited the arrested students it was learn that most of
them were...
pleading innocent and also starving.
Mr Amedu who is aspiring for one of the 2016 SUG positions use the medium to plea with the school
management to temper Justice with Mercy.

"We plead with the school management to temper Justice with mercy and that we students of Auchi poly are deeply sorry for the destruction and also we shall accept any punishment given but we plead for the 94 students to be free without jail terms." He said
Mr Peter said Auchi community remain deserted as all students have left due to gross harassment by the Nigeria police force and JTF.
He went on to say "WASAP 2016 team are pleading to students to remain calm as the management will do everything within their power to return us back to school as soon as possible and we ask all students to pray for the 94 students arrested as they might face persecution this month end. #Management#forgive#us.

But the Edo state Commissioner of police Mr Chris Ezike made it clear that all student
arrested will appear before the court, stating that as they (the student
arrested) decided to engage in criminal act, they will as such be
treated as criminals. See video
